Curtis Olivieri, DPT believes Physical Therapy and Health as a whole should be a journey starting with getting to know the patient and finding out each patient’s story meeting them where they are and guiding them to their goals. He helps guide them to these goals by having a solid foundation in human anatomy, movement principles, and using a blended portion of many different continuing education experiences. He is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Screen, The postural respiration institute, the Maitland and Mulligan Institutes. He believes manual techniques, joint mobilization, dry needling, among multiple other passive methods, help to reduce pain so movement is easier and not feared. He also believes that these passive techniques only open a temporary window to health, a window that can be closed with movement and patient education.
