Meet our team
Jonathan Burke, DPT, MTC, CSCS
Jonathan has been practicing Physical Therapy in Birmingham, AL since 2006. His primary focus has been working with musculoskeletal injuries/conditions and sports medicine. Jonathan attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences. After graduation Jonathan moved to Florida, there he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2006. Jonathan is Manual Therapy Certified through the University of St. Augustine, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, FMS L1 and L2 certified through Functional Movement Systems, and a CrossFit Level 1 trainer through CrossFit Inc. Jonathan uses a variety of treatment methods including manual therapy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Functional Movement Screening (FMS) to design individualized programs to meet the client’s needs.
Whitney Braswell Fedor, DPT, PRPC
Whitney obtained her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 2009. She then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Whitney has advanced training to treat patients with pelvic floor dysfunction related disorders/diagnoses. She is pursuing her pelvic rehab certified practitioner floor rehabilitation certification through Herman and Wallace education institute. She is also certified level one and level two practitioner in trigger point dry needling and holds a specific certification in dry needling for pelvic floor dysfunction specific disorders.Whitney enjoys traveling and any type of outside activity. She also enjoys exploring the wonderful city of New Orleans and spending time with her husband Nathan and dog Dixie.
Sonia Saini, PT, DPT, OCS
Sonia graduated from the University of California San Francisco’s Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy in 2014. She worked primarily in a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings and did Travel Physical Therapy throughout her home state of California before recently settling in Louisiana. She is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) and special interests/patient populations are balance and fall prevention, strengthening post cancer treatment, concussion management in addition to orthopedic and sport-related injuries. Sonia is interested in the psychology of patient care and makes sure to address the mind as well as the body as it relates to injury. Her rehab focus is to help patients be as independent as possible by putting them in the driver’s seat of their recovery journey through a combination of evidence-based clinical education, movement science principles, manual therapy techniques, and preventative measures for long term health and wellness.When she is not in the clinic she enjoys running, hiking with her dog, baking, and traveling. She is excited to be a part of the New Orleans community and help you get back to your best self!
